Licensed Acupuncturist

Jubal Bewick

Dr. Jubal Bewick is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist with over six years of full-time clinical experience in whole-person healthcare. Before joining Acupuncture Connections, he founded and operated Blue Mountain Acupuncture, a clinic dedicated to Veteran care, chronic pain management, and whole health-centered care. His clinical background includes working with highly diverse populations and collaborating across disciplines to support patients with ranging from acute injuries to complex health needs.

Jubal earned his Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and a Master’s in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. His clinical training spans hospital rotations in neurology, gastroenterology, and immune wellness, as well as intensive study programs in Taipei, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Shanghai. These experiences shaped a treatment philosophy rooted in both classical Chinese medicine and modern evidence-based practice.

In the treatment room, Jubal blends Chinese medicine approach with a contemporary understanding of pain science, neurophysiology, and whole body regulation. He has advanced training in orthopedic acupuncture, dry needling, motor and trigger points, and electroacupuncture.

Primary areas of clinical focus include:

• Orthopedic & musculoskeletal care: neck, shoulder, low back, and hip pain; sciatica; disc-related conditions; post-surgical recovery; and functional rehabilitation.

• Neurological & nerve-related conditions: migraines, chronic headaches, neuropathic pain patterns, and radiating or nerve-involved pain.

• Stress, sleep, & whole person regulation: stress-related tension, sleep disruption, chronic pain cycles influenced by the nervous system, and long-term health optimization.

Beyond clinical practice, Jubal has given educational presentations on stroke recovery and acupuncture for pain at Providence St. Mary Medical Center and the Jonathan M. Wainwright VA Medical Center. He also served with the Acupuncture Relief Project in rural Nepal, providing patient care and contributing to outcome-driven research in underserved communities. This work continues to inform his patient-centered approach and commitment to accessible, high-quality integrative care.

At Acupuncture Connections, Jubal’s goal is to listen deeply, treat precisely, and collaborate with each patient to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support meaningful, lasting improvements in overall health and daily life.
