Patricia is originally from New York, but lived for 26 years in the lakes region of New Hampshire where she was a full time mom and homemaker, raising three children. In 1995 she earned her undergraduate degree from Plymouth State University and taught elementary school for five years before heading out to California to pursue a new direction in her life.
Patricia attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and obtained a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013. While at Pacific College Patricia taught tai chi senior classes, and organized a weekly health and lifestyle discussion group for seniors in the community as well. Following graduation, she returned to New England to be close to family and obtained a position at MetroWest Community Acupuncture, where she grew as a practitioner over the next year before moving on to experience private practice. Patricia is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine, and is certified by the National Certification Commission forAcupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Patricia believes that Chinese Medicine is an effective and safe way to treat a wide variety of conditions, yet it's not merely an alternative form of medical treatment, but rather a primary healthcare approach to lifelong wellness and optimal health. In her spare time she enjoys long walks, reading, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her 3 year old grandson.
